This piece is part of the Art of Communication series. In this series, the verbal and nonverbal communication techniques are explored. There are many tools available to you as you communicate; you just have to be aware of them and then use them purposefully. The better you become at using these tools, the better you’ll be at communicating. A painting cannot speak to us, yet painting communicate to us every day! Some of the verbal communication tools that we use every day are words, vocabulary, emotion, and enunciation. While words, vocabulary and enunciation are challenging to portray in a painting, the emotional aspect of communication has been captured in many of the pieces in this collection. The nonverbal communication comes from our body language: hands, eyes, arms, legs and speaking position. As you explore the different pieces in this series pay attention to both of these communication vehicles to see what each piece is trying to tell you.
