Masha Schwartz Art

Professional Artist, Speaker

& Founder of Surreabstract Style

For Masha Schwartz, art isn’t merely an occupation—it’s a heartfelt calling that began in her childhood. Born in Ukraine in 1982 and now based in the United States, Masha’s mission has always been to inspire and uplift through creative expression. She is the founder of the pioneering “Surreabstract” style, which merges surrealism and abstraction to spark wonder, curiosity, and self-discovery in every viewer.

Masha’s artistic journey has been shaped by a deep desire to help others see their own potential. After witnessing children struggle with self-doubt, losing faith in their own creativity, she set out to establish an organization that would help children and adults overcome these limiting beliefs. She launched Masha Schwartz Art and the Surreabstract Creatives movement to fulfill her vision of helping people discover the power of Surreabstract creativity—a goal that resonates deeply with her mission of accelerating innovation and well-being worldwide through imagination and expressive art.  Her style draws from Salvador Dalí’s concept of “critical paranoia,” weaving in musical inspiration and even Virtual Reality (VR) to create immersive worlds where our preconceived limits are joyfully tested.

Formally educated at Towson University (graphic arts and marketing), Phoenix University (MBA), and holding a doctoral degree in international business from UMGC, Masha combines her artistic expertise with a strategic business perspective. She channeled this dual skill set into founding Vivid Connect, assisting entrepreneurs and creatives in expanding their reach globally, and a few other ventures. Since 1997, her artwork has been commissioned for murals, showcased in solo and group exhibitions, and acquired by private and corporate collectors worldwide.

Beyond simply beautifying spaces, Masha views art as a bridge to personal growth, particularly for those navigating ADHD, depression, and trauma. By teaching Surreabstract techniques, she offers a transformative outlet for individuals seeking self-discovery and healing. Her long-term vision includes a living museum tour across the United States and abroad, culminating in a traveling art museum where children can work side by side with seasoned artists.

Whether enhancing corporate environments, private collections, or brightening a family’s living space, Masha’s ultimate goal remains the same: to spark creativity, nurture untapped potential, and remind us that art has the power to heal, connect, and inspire our best selves.

Surreabstract Creativity is a continuous metamorphic state of mind in another dimension present on earth.

Artist Rules: B*CH

  1.  Be the person that you are – everyone else is already taken.
  2.  Creativity is contagious – pass it on.
  3.  Have no fear of perfection – you’ll never reach it.

People often say I come up with brilliant ideas every six hours, and if I could monetize them all, I’d be a billionaire. Rather than letting those flashes of inspiration slip away, I capture them daily—filling sketchbooks and notebooks with concepts, business ventures, and exploratory drawings. Over the years, my art has evolved naturally, granting me the freedom to experiment across a variety of styles, techniques, and mediums. While my primary focus is acrylic on canvas, I also create murals and work comfortably with watercolors, inks, oils, photography, and digital art.

This obsession with creation isn’t just a skill; it’s a driving force that shapes my entire approach to life. Through art, I celebrate my own growth and share with others the thrill of constantly becoming something new.
